INFRASTRUCTURE AND LEARNING RESOURCES
T.D.M.N.S College is located in remote rural village in Tirunelveli district. The campus area of the College is about 40 Acres and the built up area is 3739 sq. meter. At present arrangements are made for sufficient class rooms, centrally located administrative office of principal and secretary, Auditorium, library, Laboratories, waiting room for ladies, staff rooms, N.S.S and NCC office .The college has made arrangements for vehicle stand for students and staff separately. Sufficient filtered drinking water facility is also available in the campus, It is appreciated that, the college has separate generator with capacity of 10 KV. The College has a vast playground with facilities for athletic event, valley ball, Kabbadi, ball Badminton, Kho-Kho. etc. The 400-meter track is available in the college campus. Many athletic events like long jump, pole vault, and hammer throw etc are held on the playground. The college has indoor games facilities like carrom, chess, along with a Gymnasium. Many of the students have distinguished themselves and won gold and silver medals in the inter university and zone level events. The incentives given to them are cash prizes. College has earmarked five percent seats in admission for outstanding sports persons. The College encourages them by honoring during the college day / sports day functions. The college has provided computers individually to all the departments. Two computer laboratories are made available to meet the ICT requirements.

The central library has 19489 total books with 46 titles and subscribes to 9 journals, and 27 magazines. The College library is partially , computerized and automated. The college constituted a library advisory committee to help the librarian. The College has given open access system to the students and reading room facility. 62 CDS/DVDS are also available in the library. The Internet facility is not provided in the library but it is provided separately. The authorities may provide Internet facility in the library. Budgetary allocations to the library need to be enhanced, annually and motivate students to develop reading habit on a regular basis.

The College has two separate hostels for Boys and girls. Hostel accommodation is provided to needy students. Boys hostel is in the College campus itself and girls hostel is little away from the College and close to principals’ residence.
